47 Strings is a unique and unprecedented harp concert series. The program began with the concept of performing one interactive outreach program for each of the 47 strings on the harp. The original goal has been surpassed, and over 50 performances have taken place and reached over 1,700 people in nursing homes, homeless shelters, and preschool, elementary, and special needs children. The main goal is to foster a greater understanding and appreciation for classical music, by providing educational concerts to audiences who are not often exposed to it. 47 Strings is fiscally sponsored by Fractured Atlas. Every donation is tax-deductible, and all contributions go directly toward subsidizing these performances that reach and grow new audiences. Click HERE to contribute.
